I love Jesus... I love my family... And I love sweets!

I grew up with a mom and a sister who are very artistically creative. My mom Josi has her own Faux Finishing business, and until moving to California, my sister worked with her. Even now Melissa is an amazing photographer! When people would ask me if I faux finish or paint murals like they do, my response was always, "No... but I can outdo them in the kitchen!"

So it was actually a relief when about 3 years ago I discovered a talent that I never knew I had. I always "liked" to bake because I love sweets, but this was something more. I discovered I really enjoyed making Custom Cakes for my family and friends, and I was good at it too! So now I am a Self-Taught Baker and Cake Decorator, and I love it!

I can remember saying,  "Someday I'm going to own a Bakery & Candy Shop!" And someday I will! This is a stepping stone on my path that God has set before me. He has blessed me with a gift, and so my journey begins....

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."            Proverbs 3:5-6
